TRENTO – We are thrilled to announce a strengthening of the cooperation between Autonomous province of Trento (PAT) and project partner Trentino Federation of Cooperation (FTCoop) – International Projects Office. This new phase marks a strategic leap forward, particularly through a direct synergy with FTCoop’s Education Department.
Shared Goals, Unified Vision
By aligning PAT’s experience with FTCoop’s established roots in cooperative education, this partnership aims to build a bridge between ESIC European project and local educational initiatives.
The cornerstone of this alliance is FTCoop’s contribution to the ESIC project. By sharing its expertise in School Cooperatives, FTCoop will enrich the PAT – organized training programme on social economy and innovation, launching in Spring/Autumn 2026.
Key Benefits of the Synergy
This collaboration is designed to be a “win-win” strategy for both PAT and FTCoop
- Valorisation of existing projects: Selected FTCoop School Cooperative projects will be valorised through first-hand interviews with the teachers leading these initiatives; the interviews will be used as supplementary learning materials for the training programme’s case studies;
- Reciprocal Visibility: PAT’s training programme will be enriched through interviews with the Director of the International Projects Office, Ms. Elena Badeanschi, and the Director of the Education Department, Ms. Jenny Capuano, who will introduce the topics of Cooperation and Cooperative Education, respectively. ESIC project activities will be highlighted on FTCoop’s social media channels, with the aim of reaching local teachers involved in School Cooperatives.
- Territorial Impact: By focusing on schools, the partnership ensures that the project’s benefits take root in the local territory, fostering the next generation of change makers.
What’s Next?
Stay tuned for the kickoff of our training programme on social economy and innovation for secondary and vocational school teachers. Thanks to the collaboration between PAT and FTCoop, the course will now include dedicated content on School Cooperatives. This will equip teachers to share Trentino’s deep-rooted cooperative tradition with their students, bridging the gap between local heritage and modern social innovation.
