The 10th EMES International Research Conference on Social Enterprise will bring together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers from around the world to explore how social enterprises can contribute to large-scale societal transitions. Hosted by the EMES International Research Network, in collaboration with the Rotterdam School of Management (Erasmus University) and Utrecht University, this year’s edition will take place across two cities in the Netherlands — Rotterdam and Utrecht — from 3 to 7 November 2025.
This major gathering in the field of social enterprise and social innovation provides an open space for dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge exchange between academics and practitioners. Participants can look forward to plenary sessions, thematic panels, practitioner labs, and site visits to local social enterprises.
